Braven supports students from college to career by partnering with universities, employers, and college success organizations to offer a two-part experience that begins with a credit-bearing college course followed by a post-course experience that lasts through graduation. About the Role
The Site Director is the inspiring leader who sets a powerful vision for programmatic success at Spelman College and is responsible for ensuring that students who participate as Braven Fellows secure a strong first job or enroll in graduate school within 6 months of graduation. You will lead a team of three full-time employees (i.e. Program Managers) and a team of part-time interns. You’ll also be responsible for recruiting and selecting our volunteers, and will build and maintain a positive and strong presence at Spelman and in the greater Atlanta community.

To be successful as part of the Spelman site team you must be comfortable at skillfully navigating ambiguity and ongoing change and demonstrate an openness to feedback. You genuinely understand and appreciate that you are only as good and successful as your team - which includes the community of college partners at Spelman College specifically. You must also value leading with a high impact/low-ego mindset and demonstrate a strong commitment, in both thought and action, to diversity and inclusion.

The strongest candidates for this role have prior management experience ideally in the education or nonprofit sector along with a clear understanding of the experiences of First-Generation, Pell-Eligible and/or undergraduates of color and the transition from college to career or graduate school. They demonstrate a clear ability to build strong relationships and shared value partnerships with a wide range of stakeholders and have mastered the ability to fully leverage data and metrics to drive decision-making. They are energized by public speaking and facilitation, thrive on human interaction and enjoy the challenge of meeting new people.

Compensation and Benefits
The salary for this position, which depends on prior work experience and our assessment of your fit for the role, will likely be between $78,900 - $98,600. Braven offers competitive base salaries based on the midpoint of the market among not-for-profit organizations of similar size, with opportunities for salary growth over time. We believe in compensating staff members fairly in relation to each other, their qualifications, and their impact on behalf of the organization, and take internal equity seriously.
