About the Role
In order to achieve its ambition of serving 40,000 Fellows over the next decade, Braven must expand its programming to universities across the country. In that effort, Braven is hiring a Program Manager, Accelerator (PMA) who will facilitate and fully lead the execution of the Braven Leadership and Career Accelerator for first-generation college students as part of the innovative Braven Online team. As the PMA, you’ll be part of the engine behind our work with our newest university partner– Northern Illinois University (NIU). You’ll facilitate and manage the experience of hundreds of college students (typically Sophomores) as they complete the Braven Accelerator in a largely remote format. There will be some opportunities for light in-person engagements 1-2x per semester at NIUs campus in Dekalb, IL. You’ll also help to support an alumni experience for Junior and Senior-year college students that greatly increases their likelihood of graduating college with a strong first job.
What You’ll Do: Fully managing the facilitation and execution of the Braven Online course and lightly supporting the post-course experience for our new partner- Northern Illinois University; This includes but is not limited to:

Compensation and Benefits
The salary for this position, which depends on prior work experience and our assessment of your demonstrated fit for the role, will likely be between $51,500 - $64,400. Braven offers competitive base salaries based on the midpoint of the market among not-for-profit organizations of similar size, with opportunities for salary growth over time. We believe in compensating staff members fairly in relation to each other, their qualifications, and their impact on behalf of the organization, and take internal and external equity seriously. When social distancing is not in place, we gather in the office three days a week. Therefore, we require teammates to live within commuting distance of Chicago. Each teammate can use two flex days of their choosing per week to work remotely. We believe in the magic, connection, and collaboration that happens when people work together face-to-face and we believe in giving people flexibility to focus, balance personal priorities, and save themselves two commutes per week.
